Pop Math privacy policy

Effective October 4, 2026

Collin Smith, publishing as collincodes, makes Pop Math. The app is for young children and is used with a parent.

On the device

Child names and game scores are stored only on the device (local storage). The app does not send the child's name, answers, scores, or a hardware id.

Anonymous counts

Pop Math sends anonymous counts only to Little Minds: that an install happened, that a game was played and which mode (addition, subtraction, mix, or practice), and that a child profile was created. The install uses a random id stored on the device so an install is counted once. That id is not a hardware id. The server records the country of the request as a two-letter code only, not the IP address and not the child's name.

What the app does not do

Pop Math has no ads, no accounts, no in-app purchases, and no third-party analytics SDK. It does not use location, the camera, or the microphone.

Speech and sound

Speech is pre-recorded audio bundled in the app. It is not recorded from the child and not uploaded. Sound effects are bundled too.

Deleting data

Uninstalling the app deletes the local names, scores, and the random install id on the device. The server keeps aggregate counts only, not the child's name, answers, or scores.
